Health Benefits

There is a long list of claims we have seen about the usages of Natural Salt and Natural
Salt Crystal Lamps. While we are not doctors or a part of the medical or scientific
community, there are many clients who swear by the curative and air purifying properties
of these products. The list includes but is in no way limited to:

Negative Ion Generation

Negative Ions are what scientists say you experience when around a powerful waterfall or
during a thunderstorm when the air around you smells it’s cleanest and freshest. In today’
s industrial world our personal environments are filled with positive ions (which sound
better but aren’t) that are pollutants to our health.

Negative Ion Generators are said to purify the air, reduce Airborne Pollutants (pet dander,
allergens, pollens, bacteria) and reduce the radiation emissions from Computer Monitors.
Some even find them helpful as natural cigarette smoke filters.

We have read reports of increased energy and a reduction in fatigue and ADHD and
anxiety that, when combined, improve mental performance while calming and relaxing the
user. These claims are based on the same Negative Ion generation principle.

Curative Powers

Natural Salts have been used by the medical community since the Medieval times, and to
this day are thought to reduce Bronchial Congestion, Asthma, Insomnia, Depression,
Allergies, Viruses, Sinusitis and Migraines.

Skin Care

Crushed Salt Crystals are used for relaxing soaks in the bathtub and for reducing the
healing time for burns. In Bar form Natural Salts are said to aid in reducing and relieving
the effects of eczema, psoriasis, warts and other skin inflictions. *

  Product Information and Care

Salt Lamps: The included bulb is generally designed to last for many hours of
continuous use. When changing the bulb, we suggest using a 7-15 watt candelabra
based bulb depending on the size of the lamp and the desired lighting effect. Unplug the
lamp cord from the wall, remove the bulb assembly from the base of the lamp and
carefully replace the bulb. Reinsert the bulb assembly into the base of the lamp and then
plug the cord back in.

Tea Lights: We have included a tea light to get you started. As the tea light burns out it
can be replaced with ordinary tea light candles purchased from any store or our soy
candles. When cooled, remove the burned out candle and replace. (You may need to tip
the Salt Tea Light holder over to remove it).

Placement of your Salt Lamp or Salt Tea Light: As Natural Salt does have a tendency to
“sweat”, we suggest placing your Lamp or Tea Light on a protected surface. (some come
with protective “Feet”). There is some residue that might come from the use of the
product but that can be typically wiped clean with ordinary household products. We
suggest placing one in your bedroom, your children's bedroom, your den, your kitchen
and in your office.

Care for your Salt Lamps and Tea Lights: One of the properties of Natural Salt Lamps is
that they do absorb moisture from the air. When used in artificially air-conditioned
environments, or in humid locales, the Salt Lamp or Tea Light may also show slight
discoloration. A light wipe with a damp cloth will remove the surface "corrosion" and
refresh the look of your item. If left unlit for a period of time, the Salt Lamp or Salt Tea
Light may have a moist feel. If so, you can wipe your Salt Lamp or Salt Tea Light with a
dry cloth to remove excess moisture. Typically, the warmth of the low wattage light bulb or
lit tea light candle will generally prevent the gradual accumulation of moisture through the
process of evaporation.

If you store the lamp for prolonged periods of time, and wish to avoid the accumulation of
moisture, place the lamp in its box or in a plastic bag and place in a moisture free
environment.

WARNING!!
Please do not let children handle heavy lamps, they can cause serious injury if dropped
on a body part or damage to furniture as well as causing damage to the lamp.

Do not place electric lamps near water or a bath. Severe injury or death may occur if the
lamp falls into the water or comes in contact with water. Use tea light candle holders for
baths. If under medical supervision or pregnant, consult your physician before use of
bath salts.
